We care about your privacy. 

Plyce’s website respects your private life and is declared to the CNIL (Information and Liberty National Commission).

Plyce stays the only one decision-maker about the content uploaded on Plyce and can decide unilaterally not to publish or delete a campaign which contravenes to principles enumerated below. Plyce’s responsibility will not be engaged for this. 

Information likely to be collected on Plyce is exclusively designed to allow you to enrich your social network.

Information you upload is used to enjoy Plyce services. All cautions have been taken to file your information in a secured environment. Information about you and capture by you are never transmitted to third party, neither sold nor exchanged.

Certain information non personal can be captured as the visited page, the version of your navigator (Netscape, Internet Explorer etc.), of your used exploitation system (Windows, Mac, Linux, etc.) and your IP address.

Information composing your profile is accessible on Plyce. Thereof, you expressly authorize Plyce to reproduce or diffuse your information on all or part of the Service. If you do not want that Plyce reproduces or diffuses your information, you can cancelled your Plyce account in conditions planned on Article 7 – Cancellation of your account of the Terms of Use.

Data Collect on Plyce

Plyce collects the following information when you use the Service:

  • Information that you provide to us: During your registration as a member of Plyce, Plyce collects your personal information as your name, and email address. This information is necessary to create your personal profile. On the occasion of your personal profile, you also can submit or add supplementary information as your picture.
  • Automatic collected information: Plyce collects and memorises information transmitted automatically by your computer when you use the Service. The information includes cookies (see below) and your IP address. Plyce also collects information on the functionalities that you use as a member.
  • The information about you as a member of Plyce can include other information, of which information accessible publically and information of other company.

Use and divulgation of information

For the good work of Plyce and in order to offer services of quality, Plyce uses the following information:

  • Plyce will display your personal information on your profile according to preferences you chose. Plyce will use your name in order to identify in Plyce data bases and to personalise the proposed services. Plyce will use your email address in order to contact you now and then. Plyce could also use it for security reasons, for you to confirm that you are the right person. You can select the type of email you will receive and the frequency of post in your email preferences.

  • Your personal information as a user of Plyce as well as the content of your online communications, can be accessible or divulgated in response to a judicial proceedings; in other circumstances when Plyce thinks that Plyce is used to commit a crime, when Plyce thinks it exists an emergency situation which constitute a threat to your security or the security of an other person; or when this is necessary to protect the rights or the property of Plyce, or to permit Plyce to do the demanded service.

  • Plyce reserves the right to transfer your personal information in case of a property transfer of Plyce, for instance following the fusion or repurchase by an other company. If a purchaser company wanted to modify this politic of confidentiality, Plyce would inform you by prior notification. 

Recommandations

If you choose to use the Services to recommend Plyce to a friend, Plyce would ask you to give your friend name and email. Plyce would send only one email to your friend inviting him to visit Plyce. Plyce memorises and uses this information exclusively in order to send this email.

Information collected on other websites

This declaration of confidentiality only applies to information collected by Plyce.

Plyce contains links towards other websites and services which Plyce is not the owner. Thanks to understand that these websites have their own politic of confidentiality and Plyce is not liable for their practice in terms of confidentiality. Plyce encourages you to consult the declarations of confidentiality of each website which collect personal information.

Plyce can sometimes use the masking, so you will be in an other website while the address will stay the one of Plyce. In this case, the politic of confidentiality of the other website will be applied.

You decide who can access to information on your profile on Plyce:

A member can see by default at least your pseudo and your picture if you have decided to add one. When you locate or publish a content on a place, you systematically can choose to indicate if this information is designed to “all” or solely visible by your friends.

A friend is a person who demanded to be your friend and you accepted to by confirming the demand (or conversely, you demanded and he accepted).

Your friends can see all your messages posted on the places form and your localisations on their places. They also see your name and first name.

It would be possible to send a personal message to an other person. In this case, only the other person could see the content of the message.

If you decide to divulgate your personal information to an other person on Internet, you do it on your own risks. Plyce will not be considered as a responsible.

Sensibilisation to Internet

When you publish personal information in public spaces, for instance online newspaper, weblogs, chats and forums, you must be conscious that this information is public and could be used to send you unwanted messages. Plyce recommends you to be prudent when you choose to divulgate information on Internet.

Children

  • Minors under 13 years old are not authorised to use Plyce and cannot try to register on Plyce and/or submit us all personal information. Plyce never voluntarily collect personal information of minors under 13 years old, and do not authorise these latter to register. If Plyce learns that it had collected personal information of a minor under 13 years old, it will delete these latter as possible. If you have good reasons to think that it is the case, thanks to contact us by email. Plyce will delete such information.
  • Plyce recommends to children between 13 and 17 years old not to provide information about them on Internet without the prior authorisation of their parents or legal guardians.  

Security and confidentiality

Plyce uses different security systems to protect your data, of which technical, administrative and physical systems. Nevertheless, keep on mind that Plyce cannot guarantee the infallibility of the security measure. For instance, Plyce cannot control illegal activities and/or unpredictable of other users permitting to these latter to by-pass the confidentiality or security systems on Plyce. As a result, you agree to be conscious that unauthorised people can access to your personal information.

The security of your personal information depends of the protection of your account and your password. Thanks not to divulgate your account’s password to unauthorised people.

The access to your personal information is exclusively limited to employees authorised by Plyce to accede in the frame of their work for Plyce.
